When your Red App bundle is submitted, Sabre’s automated Validation Service (SVS) will run initial technical validation of the Red App Bundle. If any errors are identified, the Red App Certified Provider that submitted the bundle will receive a detailed message in the Message Centre. This process, depending on the number of Red Apps that are on queue to be reviewed, can take up to 15 business days. After successful certification by the Certification Engineer, the app will be pushed to the Sabre Red 360 Production environment.

If you mark your Red App as Passed, it will be pending for Sabre to publish the app to the Red App Centre Storefront.

Specific Workflows - Ordering
In this section we present all Ordering procedures depending on the type of the Red App e.g. Public/Private, with or without intervention etc. The ordering procedure for public Red Apps is initiated on the Red App Directory by the Buyer. Private apps are managed solely by the Developer in the Admin Centre panel. Some apps may require intervention on the Buyer or Provider side. All options are outlined below.
Automatic Activated And Manual Activated Red Apps
The Automatic Activation Order feature saves time by allowing the agency to automatically activate an app for selected PCCs or EPRs when placing the order. Agencies can choose to use this option, or the Manual Activation Order option, which requires manual provisioning of the apps within the Sabre Red 360 agency admin tool (AAT).
Note
|
After placing an Automatic Activation Order, the Red App will be automatically provisioned and activated for users provided in that order. All subsequent versions of that Red App will be automatically activated for your users. Automatic Activation Orders do not require the Agency Administrators to activate the Red App in the Agency Admin Tool found in Sabre Red 360. |
Orders on SCCODE, PCC and EPR level
There is an option to place an order at the SCCODE, PCC or EPR level to your convenience:
-
SCCODE level - Red App will be available for all PCCs under the buyer’s SCCODE (also called "Entire Agency Orders")
-
PCC level - Red App will be available for entire PCC(s) specified in the order
-
EPR level - Red App will be available for selected EPRs
To order a Red App only for selected EPRs, please choose My PCC Only or Build a List od PCCs option. In the next step you will be able to choose Order on EPR level option, and then select the EPRs by clicking on them.
Free Apps And Apps With Pricing Model
Sabre Red Apps can be either Free or Paid. For the paid ones, provider has to specify the pricing model.
Red App Pricing Options
Red Apps Provider can choose between flexible pricing options to set the pricing for apps:
-
Red App can be priced per User (per PCC or per EPR) and/or per Transactions
-
Fee recurrence can be one-time, annual or monthly
-
Red App price can be fixed, depended on the number of ordered users (price ranges) or negotiated for each agency
Paid Apps With Negotiated Price
Some paid Red Apps can have Negotiated Price. In such case, after ordering the app, the order is going to Waiting for Pricing status (Pricing Required for Provider). Such orders can be found in Pending Orders menu. The Red App provider has to go to Order Details view then, and propose a pricing for the agency (it will be applicable to all PCCs in the particular SCCODE), what will change the order status to Approval Required (Pricing Submitted for Provider). The buyer can either Accept or Reject the offer in Order Details view. If the order is accepted, it will be automatically provisioned to the Sabre Red 360.
Apps With Intervention
Some Red Apps may require Provider intervention before get provisioned to Buyer requested PCC(s). If the order is made for a Red App with intervention, it will be listed for the Provider under the Pending Sales section to approve that sale.
When the order is Approved it will be provisioned to Sabre Red 360 and moved to the Orders History folder for the Buyer and the Sales History folder for the Provider. Please look up your Order in History to validate if the order was processed successfully.
Private Red App Ordering Process
If you are a Provider of a Private App, an additional Private Apps menu item will be available for you under Orders menu. It allows provisioning of Private Red Apps. Process steps are similar as for Public Apps ordering:
-
Select Red Apps
-
Identify Users
-
Review
-
Submit Sale
When an order is placed it will be available in the Provider’s Sales History folder for further reference.
Please look up your Sale in History to validate if it was processed successfully.
Block Entire Agency Orders
If you are a Provider you may request to block Orders for the Entire Agency for your specified Red App. This may prevent bulk orders by Agency Buyers. This can only be requested via Red Apps Support – redappssupport@sabre.com.
